Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (KNQF Level 7 or equivalent) in Education, Engineering, Architecture or related field from a recognized university in Kenya;
Proficiency in computer applications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities;
Initiating the development of guidelines and tools for accreditation purposes;
Collecting and collating data for the national data base of qualifications awarding institutions accredited in Kenya;
Supporting institutions and individuals on accreditation of qualifications awarding institutions;
Evaluating applications for assessment and drafting the reports;
Processing applications of peer reviewers and facilitators;
Organizing accreditation training and other workshops;
Undertaking technical/full inspections and prepare reports;
Analyzing self-evaluation by institutions and reporting;
Updating the database of accreditation and registration peer reviewers;
Monitoring and reporting on implementation of policies, regulations and guidelines on registration and accreditation;
Monitoring and reporting on implementation of policies, regulations and guidelines on registration & accreditation of qualifications awarding institutions;
