Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree (KNQF Level 7 or equivalent)  in Education, Engineering, Architecture or related field from a recognized university in Kenya; 

  2. Proficiency in computer applications.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities;

  1. Initiating the development of guidelines and tools for accreditation purposes;

  2. Collecting and collating data for the national data base of qualifications awarding institutions accredited in Kenya; 

  3. Supporting institutions and individuals on accreditation of qualifications awarding institutions; 

  4. Evaluating applications for assessment and drafting the reports; 

  5. Processing applications of peer reviewers and facilitators; 

  6. Organizing accreditation training and other workshops; 

  7. Undertaking technical/full inspections and prepare reports; 

  8. Analyzing self-evaluation by institutions and reporting; 

  9. Updating the database of accreditation and registration peer reviewers; 

  10. Monitoring and reporting on implementation of policies, regulations and guidelines on registration and accreditation; 

  11. Monitoring and reporting on implementation of policies, regulations and guidelines on registration & accreditation of qualifications awarding institutions;
