Job Title: Hotel Sales & Admin
Reports to: General Manager
Job Location: Dove Nest Lodge & Peppercorn Holiday Resort – Naivasha
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times by anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
- Support strategies and conduct activities to drive market share, guest satisfaction and financial results.
- Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent Room Sales for the hotel.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
- Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
- Closely following up on all business leads within a 24 hour response time line to clients
- Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamping and distributing incoming mail
- Create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, documents, etc.
- Compile and file records of hotel activities, hotel transactions, and other activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in sales/marketing or related field
- A minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role equivalent in the hospitality field.
- Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
