Our client, a leading Plastics Manufacturing firm, seeks to recruit a dynamic, results oriented energetic and self-driven individual for the Position of Sales Assistant.
Department: Customer Service
Salary Range: Kshs 50,000/= Gross
Reports to: Sales Manager
Location: Nakuru, Kenya.
Number of Positions: 0ne (1) Position
Placement: Immediate
Duties and responsibilities
- Communicating with Clients through phone calls/Meeting
- Guiding clients on clearance processes
- Timely opening and closing files in the logistic portal
- Tracking shipments from shipping line website;
- Liaising with shipping agency on deliveries
- Coordinating with warehouses on shipment arrivals
- Ensuring timely delivery of goods to customer
- Carrying out the administrative tasks such as data input, processing shipping paperwork and filing documents.
Person Specification (Qualifications and relevant work experience)
- Diploma in sales & Marketing or any other business related field preferably accounting or Finance from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
- Must have a good knowledge of clearing and forward of goods and the export process.
- 2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
