Taxi Company Sales & Marketing Executive Job Vacancy in Kenya

A leading Taxi company in Kenya providing world class taxi service with a clean and modern fleet of over 130 vehicles is looking for a candidate for an internship position as a Sales & Marketing Executive.

Job Purpose: The Sales & Marketing executive is a sales position principally responsible for achieving sales targets by generating new sales and growing the company’s share of its portfolio within the key market segments.

The primary objective is to build and establish strong lasting relationships to generate new revenue to the organization.

The Sales & Marketing Executive is expected to uncover and close opportunities using various marketing strategies.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Generating new business and meeting sales targets.
  • Develop various marketing strategies as per customer segments and needs.
  • Analyzing EOI, prequalification’s and tenders as advertised by potential clients.
  • Preparing and submitting EOI, prequalification’s and tenders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Develop marketing communication materials.
  • Identify and implement various marketing activities that will lead to new clients.
  • Develop appropriate marketing communication to address the intended purpose.
  • Conduct market research on current trends in the industry, clients desired needs and develop strategies for fulfilling those needs.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and social media handles.
  • Client retention.
  • Attend to customer complaints promptly and innovatively as guided by the CSV policy.
  • Customer contract management.
  • Invoice verification and follow up of invoices so that they are paid within the 30 days credit period.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Public Relations or Sales & Marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Public Relations will be an added advantage.
  • Digital marketing skills (ability to develop content and run digital campaigns)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in B2B and marketing to executives will be an added advantage.
  • Technical skills required to respond to tenders, quotations and find solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
  • Be proactive, organized and able to meet tight deadlines.

The qualified candidate for the Internship will be paid a stipend of Ksh.20,000 per month.
