Our client in the hospitality industry seeks to hire a Food and Beverage Manager to manage the restaurant facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department and all its sections.
Key Responsibilities
- Major Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Manages service aspects in all food and beverage assigned areas and events, and acknowledges, greets and thanks all members and guests
- Communicates and teams well with other departments
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
- Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- Communicates with service and kitchen staff regarding reservations and/or special events
- Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
- Confirms that all service staff are in proper uniform and adhere to the Club’s appearance standards
- Participation in Manager on Duty shifts as required.
- Attendance and participation at weekly F & B meeting and Department Head meeting
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages.
- Experience in the fine dining industry is an added advantage
- Proven food and beverage management experience
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
- Communication and leadership skills
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
