International centre for Reproductive Health Kenya is a Kenya-based Non-Governmental.
ICRHK conducts research and intervention projects in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), specifically in HIV/STI, Sexual and Gender-based violence, Maternal and Child Health/Family Planning and in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health.
We seek to fill the position of a Research Assistant to be based in Machakos County.
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social science or related discipline.
- 2 years’ experience in the collection and analysis of qualitative data (focus group discussions / workshops, in-depth interviews, and direct observations).
- Experience in collections of quantitative data using electronic devices
- Experience setting up and managing virtual meetings on platforms such as zoom, Microsoft teams
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.
Skills / Abilities / Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel).
- Ability to work independently and effectively
- Familiarity with electronic data collection tools is an added advantage
- Ability to manage multiple activities and achieving set deadlines
- Strong attention to details and writing skills that should include the ability to develop comprehensive notes during qualitative data collection analysis
