Position Title: Branch Supervisor

Candidate Specification

We are looking for a branch supervisor to manage a busy restaurant.

They will be responsible for managing and directing the operation and team with optimal resources and maximum benefit principle to maintain efficient and quality services at the branch.

Specific duties and responsibilities

  • Conducting shift briefing to ensure restaurant activities and operations are known
  • Ensure that opening and closing procedures and policies developed by the restaurant are followed and complied with
  • Manage shift schedule and communicate changes made to branch schedules
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are stocked on time
  • Checking in on dining customers to inquire about food quality and service delivery
  • Addressing customer’s complaints in a calm and professional manner
  • Observe performance and encourage improvement where required
  • Ensure that checklist, and equipment and food requisitions are completed in each unit
  • Ensure that all steps of services as outlined in the training material are followed on a daily basis
  • Supervise and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant at all times.
  • Serve as a role model for the staff by remaining calm, keen, and alert during busy restaurant schedules.

Skills and Competencies

  • Must possess customer service skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality operations
  • Ability to work both independently, and as a team,
  • An excellent communicator in a diverse work setting
  • Can effectively work under pressure and ensure the team meets prepares orders on time while maintaining quality service delivery
  • An effective problem-solver, proactive, and decision-make
  • Should Demonstrate leadership qualities ensure the shift runs smoothly
  • Should be detail-oriented and can prioritize tasks

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or degree in hospitality management or hotel management
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the similar position
  • Proven work experience as a waiter/waitress
