Public Sector HR / Talent Acquisition Consultant Job Vacancy in Kenya

For our next growth agenda, we are looking to hire a “Public Sector HR / Talent Acquisition Consultant” to build and lead a team that manages and oversees the public sector in Kenya and in the region.

Your goal is to build mutually beneficial relationships with government, counties and public entities, and work as part of a passionate team to maximize Company’s competitiveness in serving the sector.

Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the public sector standards and the needs of the organizations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders & hiring managers to determine their talent needs
  • Develop a strong pipeline of potential candidates for each position available in collaboration with the internal team
  • Responsible for scanning the marketplace for trends and obtaining information on competitive positioning. Make recommendations regarding how this information could affect hiring plans and/or talent sourcing strategies
  • Responsible for mastering the use of recruiting tools and technologies to remain at the forefront of talent acquisition for the sector
  • Identify all issues of accounts to ensure complete client satisfaction through all stages of recruitment process
  • Assist in developing successful tender bids to gain business contracts or offer of work from the public sector.
  • Nurture and manage professional business relationships with public sector clients

Requirements

  • University Degree in Human Resource Management or related studies
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in recruitment and consulting services. Base and prior experience in full life-cycle recruitment in public sector is mandatory
  • Knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws and practices, processes and protocols in public sector
  • Possesses high level of specialized knowledge in experienced hire recruitment
  • Ability to work independently and effective use of time
  • Ability to establish, manage and grow business relationships and manage politics
  • Have excellent technical proposal and bid writing skills
