Position Title: Caretaker
Job Summary: Ensure property Rent Collection, service provision and repairs and maintenance are effectively done.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting rent from tenants to remit to property managers for recording and safe keeping
- Supervising duties to staff and service providers to ensure service provision is of superior standards
- Monitoring repairs and maintenance for completion by contractors within stipulated deadlines
- Liaising with the property Managers on vacancies and letting of the same
- Collecting and dispatching utility bills and ensure payment of bills
- Communicating issues of tenants and reporting any other property matters to the property manager
- Liaising with utility providers (Nairobi Water and Kenya Power and Lighting) on matters affecting the property
- Maintaining and checking property documents including rent collecting book, security books, cleaning schedules, maintenance schedules
- Assessing and ensuring properties are disaster prepared reporting any
- Driving the organization’s culture change agenda by living & instilling our core values of professionalism, integrity, innovation, diligence, team spirit, responsible citizenship and good corporate governance practices
- Promoting a culture that reflects the organization’s values and leadership competencies and that encourages high performance, and rewards productivity
- Carrying out any other roles as may be assigned by Management from time to time
Academic Qualifications:
- Artisan Grade1 – Electrician, Plumbing, Carpentry
- O’Level Certificate
- At least 6 Months experience.
