Position Title: Assistant Electrical Engineer

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering from a reputable university.
  • 5 years’ experience in electrical project construction and renovation, preferred in the industrial sector.

Job Description

  • Capable of reading electrical design and shop drawings.
  • Excellent knowledge in electrical fittings installation, such as RMC, EMT conduits, and deeply involved in accessories.
  • Able to monitor the technicians and give them daily tasks based on requested tasks.
  • Able to advise for electrical problems and flexibility to solve issues.
  • Expert In electrical systems testing and commissioning, such as, lighting system, panel boards, ATS,
  • Generator, Earthing & bonding system.
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Test finished products and system capabilities
  • Keep necessary equipment operational
  • Assist Technical Department in equipment repair and ensuring that the pumps are running efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain records of all electrical installations and electrical design changes.
  • Troubleshooting of electrical issues and making sustainable recommendations.
  • Carry out Root Cause Analysis for all Breakdowns and critical abnormality, prepare and share reports.
  • Ensure all maintenance documents are properly filled after maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and share various reports on Maintenance and Department KPIS.
  • Provide technical support in the design and implementation of the project electrical installation system.
  • Ensure all drawings /manuals/records/Software’s are in proper place and maintained in good condition for smooth functioning of the project.
  • Be part of the commissioning and testing of electrical installation projects.
  • Prepare electrical plans, technical specifications, line diagrams, and other project documentation for management review
  • Track project status regularly and ensure to execute projects within allotted budget and timelines.
  • Assess potential risks and technical challenges and accordingly develop corrective action plans.
  • Prepare Document and Follow up Various Audit requirements for full compliance.

Mandatory Skills Required

  • Excellent Knowledge in electrical control system and power system also up to 0.4Kv.
  • Good knowledge about IEC slandered and relative’s apparatus.
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 2 Years of experience in handling power plant equipment and dealing with 3–phase electrical installations.
  • Excellent Management and negotiation skills.
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Certificate Good Conduct
  • Skilled in Microsoft office, outlook.
  • High communication skills.
