Ndumberi Dairy Head of Sales and Marketing Job Vacancy in Kenya

Ndumberi Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd wishes to recruit a Head of Sales and Marketing.

The Officer will be based in Kiambu’s Ndumberi Township.

Reporting to the Manager, the Head of sales and marketing is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to ensure the growth of profitable Society’s sales volumes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and marketing plans
  • Negotiate pricing guidelines by individual accounts or stores/ supermarkets within set parameters.
  • Ensure that set sales targets are achieved by developing and managing a team of sales team including training, setting targets and providing operational support
  • Evaluate market trends, gather competitor information, and identify trends that affect current and future growth of sales volumes.
  • Ensure quality customer service and maintain effective relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports,
  • Benchmark and implement best practices in sales and marketing,
  • Liaise regularly with departments to ensure product availability is in line with sales orders and other requirements.
  • Manage all sales-related data to provide the management with accurate reports.
  • Promote a positive corporate image
  • Ensure reports are compiled and presented as agreed or requested.

Requirements

  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field. A diploma or certificate in Sales & Marketing added advantage
  • Three (3) years of experience in FMCG preferably milk companies
  • Valid BCE driving license with at least 3 years of driving experience
  • Computer literate with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, persuasive and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing dynamics in FMCG as well as a good understanding of brand positioning and market segmentation.
