Position Title: Office Assistant
Reporting to: The Branch Manager

Our client is a fast-growing financial technology company operating in Zambia, South Africa, Uganda, and Kenya. Kenyan subsidiary is to offer a “Touch and Tech” approach direct to retail consumers.
The company delivers personal lending products from physical branch and digital channels, utilizing internally generated software and lending products backed by IT and data analytics teams based in South Africa.
The company is well supported by strong shareholders and a board of directors with vast experience in entrepreneurship and lending.
They are seeking to recruit Office Assistant.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications;
Qualifications
- At least a Diploma in Business Management from a recognized institution.
- Experience as an office assistant or in a related field.
- Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
- Warm personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Great communication skills.
- Good organizational skills
Duties and key responsibilities:
- Cleaning in the office
- Preparing tea for the office
- Perform receptionist duties when needed
- Deliver and pick letters from the post office
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
