Position Title: Mechanical Technician
Our client, a leading Plastics Manufacturing firm based along Mombasa Road seeks to recruit a dynamic, results oriented energetic and self-driven individual for the Position of Mechanical Technician.

Salary Range: Kshs 35,000/= Gross plus overtime
Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
Number of Positions: 0ne (3) Positions
Placement: Immediate
Duties and responsibilities
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair or replace all components of Injection Molding machines, Blow Molding Machinery and equipment.
- Assist in Scheduling and undertaking periodic maintenance on all mechanical equipment, components, and installations
- Assist in ensuring that equipment are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities
- Assist in Installation of fresh mechanical components and fittings
- Assist in troubleshooting machine breakdowns and providing preventive maintenance services
- Assisting in carrying out quality inspections on mechanical jobs
- Assisting in ensuring equipment are properly maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Person Specification (Qualifications and relevant work experience)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the plastic molding industry
- Ability to read schematics and manuals highly desired
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair or replace all components of Injection Molding machines, Blow Molding Machinery and equipment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
