Position Title: Plastic Processing Engineer
Our client, a leading Plastics Manufacturing firm based along Mombasa Road seeks to recruit a dynamic, results oriented energetic and self-driven individual for the Position of Plastic Processing Engineer.

Salary Range: Kshs 120,000 Gross
Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
Number of Positions: One (1) Position
Placement: Immediate
Overall purpose of the Job: The role holder shall be responsible for developing and installing all new injection moulding equipment and documenting all implementation processes for all moulded.
Key Role Accountabilities
- Prepare all specifications of all plastic processes and execute all gages to maintain optimal quality and assist to design all control plans.
- Manage all cost requests and establish all manufacturing costs and equipments.
- Maintain knowledge on all safety requirements for various processes.
- Administer all projects and recommend improvement to facilitate all first time quality.
- Evaluate all alternatives to plastic resins to maintain all projects within required budget and initiate cost reduction method for same.
- Analyze and ensure compliance to all customer requirements and supervise all material and coat engineering activities and manage communication with vendors and suppliers.
- Provide support to all material equipments and assist to increase productivity of all plastic associate processes.
- Performing any other relevant task assigned from time to time.
Person Specification (Qualifications and Skills)
- Degree in Engineering technology or Plastic engineering
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in high output plastics manufacturing environment with in-depth knowledge of injection and blow setting, hydraulics and electrical equipment
- Experience in setting injection moulding /blowing moulding machines
- Knowledge of injection and blow machines
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair or replace all components of Injection Molding machines, Blow
- Molding Machinery and equipment.
- At least 5 years in a managerial position will be an added advantage.
- Ability to effectively lead and direct employees
