Position Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)
Our client is a Tech Company that specialises in the Design, Implementation and Maintenance of High-End Data Networks.
They seek to hire a BDM, responsible for business growth and for formulating sales and lead generation strategies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective BD & lead closing strategies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Increase market share in Kenya and beyond
- Generate, qualify and close leads
- Schedule sales appointments and activities
- Promote products to new and existing customers
- Develop and make presentations and demos of company products and services to current and potential clients
- Provide excellent customer service and salesmanship
- Develop and maintain a customer database
- Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value
- Address client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction
- Lead team to meet their performance goals
Person’s specifications
- 3 years of experience in selling tech services or IT hardware products
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quota
- Ability to create and deliver client presentations
- Expert in time management and personal organization
- Highly motivated, determined, and target driven
