Instrumentation Technicians Career Opportunities in Kenya

We seeks to hire a well experienced Instrumentation Technicians.

Role Purpose: Responsible for configuration & Maintenance of virtual monitoring system for steam boilers ensuring optimum output, accurate data & continuous improvements.

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager.

Key roles & responsibilities

  • Installs, programs, inspects, troubleshoots, and adjusts electrical and mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and related Virtual Monitoring Systems information systems.
  • Performs tests and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment;
    interprets readings and outputs of equipment; ensures proper functioning of Virtual Monitoring System equipment and related information systems.
  • Involve in evaluation of virtual Monitoring Systems performance to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities.
  • Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, water meter, monitoring box and other electrical equipment
  • Log all services and report progress to management
  • Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
  • Addressing any customer complaints and service requests

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduates in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering (Bachelors) with 2 years’ experience or Diploma in electrical engineering – Instrumentation Major with 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent electrical background experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills
  • Show ability to inject new ideas on process or systems and desire to grow.
  • A team player
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment
