The company is seeking to recruit a highly talented and dynamic professional to fill in the following position based in Nairobi:

Sales Account Manager

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the incumbent will be responsible for generating revenue for the Hardware Department of the Company, management of client accounts and generating related reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sending quotations and following up on them till clients make orders.
  • Managing pipelines to ensure constant growth and conversion of sales quotes to orders.
  • Prospecting for potential leads for the company’s retail products and services.
  • Introducing to existing and potential clients new Company products and services.
  • Providing customers with timely and accurate information related to quotation requirements on product specifics, pricing, order status, delivery and customer queries.
  • Managing the debt collection from clients in liaison with the Accounts Department.
  • Generating reports on the status of booked and projected sales on a monthly basis.

Key Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field.
  • A Minimum of 2 years work experience in IT Sales.
  • Proven Experience in retail operations.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer Oriented and Attention to detail.
  • Good Problem-solving and analytical skills.
