Job Title: Programs Associate
Our client is a consultancy firm that supports institutions and organized groups interested in contributing to the field of social impact.
They seek to hire a Programs Associate.
The individual will be mandated to undertake project management, conduct research and analyze data to deliver client assignments.
They will also provide administrative support to the Lead Consultant and coordinate events, meetings and projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop client proposals and concept papers and respond to tenders and Expressions of Interest (EoIs).
- Manage client engagements and client communication.
- Conduct research, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and submit reports.
- Coordinate client and project meetings and logistics.
- Coordinate external engagements, from speaking engagements to other external meetings.
- Manage general correspondence and provide direct administrative support, including:
- Manage the office expenses and submit reports at the same.
- Coordinate travel and training logistics
- Take notes, draft minutes, and keep track of key action points from meetings.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Person’s Specifications
- Has experience in project management and administration.
- Possess great research and data analysis skills.
- Has demonstrable experience writing proposals, reports and taking minutes.
- Has great event and meeting planning skills.
- Possess great communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a Program Assistant or Executive Assistant.
- Flexible and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and changing environment.
- Has storytelling ability and passion for Africa and its potential.
- Extensive knowledge of Google Suite (G Suite) and Ms Office.
- Attentive to details, resilient, self-driven, innovative and an analytical thinker
- A background in AIESEC, SIFE, Junior Achievement, Rotaract club/Rotary or any activity that displays passion, creativity, initiative and greatness will be an added advantage.
