Position Title: Machine Operator – PU Foam Injector Machine Handler
The job holder will be charged with responsibility to perform PU foam spraying / injection for tank insulation using a foaming machine.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the PU foam injector machine
- Manage testing, commission, training, and handover of mechanical systems to clients.
- Prepare the PU foam injection machine for production runs, including calibration, material loading, and tooling setup.
- Ensure that all safety precautions are taken during machine setup and operation.
- Operate the PU foam injector machine to initiate and maintain production runs.
- Monitor the machine's performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Keep production records and logs, documenting any deviations or issues during the production process.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.
- Strive to maximize machine efficiency and minimize downtime by optimizing production processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in PU Foam insulation / cladding fitter- PU Foam Injection.
- Experience in working at heights.
- Resilient to construction site conditions
- Knowledge of Industrial safety rules.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
